I Glasset is a local-first blind-tasting app. Your tastings, photos, scores and notes stay on your phone and are shared only with the phones in the room you choose to taste with. HUCE operates no server for this app and collects no data.
Denne side er en juridisk tekst, der vedligeholdes på engelsk, fordi den er indsendt til Apple og formuleret efter EU's forordning om digitale tjenester.
Information the app uses
I Glasset uses the display name you type on the first screen and the tastings you take part in: the bottles a host enters (name, producer, grape, region, vintage, alcohol, price, photo and notes), the scores, guesses and notes each participant gives, and the groups you create or join. This information is used only to run the tasting, award points and keep your own archive.
Where your data is stored
All of it is stored on your device, in a folder named "I Glasset" inside the app's documents that you can see in the Files app. HUCE does not operate a server that receives, stores or processes any of it, and the app makes no connection to the internet.
Sharing between the phones in the room
During a tasting, the host's phone sends information directly to the other phones that have joined with the tasting code, over the local Wi-Fi network. Until a glass is revealed, guests receive only the glass number. After the reveal, the bottle details and photo are sent once and kept on each participant's phone. Your display name, scores and guesses are visible to the other participants of that tasting, as they would be around a table. Nothing is sent beyond the local network.
Permissions
The app asks for Local Network access to find and join tastings on the other phones in the room, and for Camera and Photo Library access so a host can photograph or pick pictures of the bottles. All three are optional: the app remains usable if a permission is denied.
Data sharing with third parties
We do not share I Glasset data with advertisers, analytics providers, data brokers, or any other third parties. The app contains no analytics, advertising or tracking software, and we do not sell or rent your data.
Ownership and control
You own the data you create in I Glasset. You can edit or delete tastings, photos and groups in the app, sign out without losing them, and remove everything stored locally by deleting the app from your device. A host can end a tasting at any time, after which no new phones can join it.
Age
I Glasset is a companion for tasting wine and spirits and is rated 17+ on the App Store. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly handle information from children.
Device and platform services
Some device-level services, such as operating-system backups or app-store crash reporting, may be controlled by your device or platform settings and may include app data. HUCE does not use those services to access or share your I Glasset data.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of I Glasset adds a hosted backend or accounts, this policy will be updated before that version is released, with a new effective date shown at the top of this page.
